Kellerberrin students share the music

MUSICALLY gifted students at Kellerberrin District HighSchool are partaking in the school’s extracurricular music programs.

Music teacher Julie Doncon said they had recorder andclarinet groups as well as the school choir for students who were enthusiasticabout music and wanted to join.

All their rehearsing and practising does pay off when thestudents perform for residents at Dryandra Hostel and at various schoolassemblies.

Students are also benefitting from the state-of- the-artmusic room that was built recently thanks to the federal government’s Buildingthe Education Revolution funding.

Menno Inverarity, Angus Luers, Jayde Watkins, Bridget Dixon, Kaley McDonnell and Bree-Annah Ferguson practise on their recorders.
