McVilly suspended for hitting opponent

CLARENCE midfielder Aaron McVilly has been given a hefty six-game suspension after he was reported off television footage from last Saturday’s game against Glenorchy at KGV. After viewing footage of the ABC coverage of the game, the State League Tribunal suspended McVilly for striking Glenorchy opponent Jaye Bowden. McVilly must serve four weeks of the suspension with the other two games held over until round 10 next year.
